Reflect and Refocus – Education Marketing Workshop

Does your institution have:

A robust pipeline of qualified potential students?

A clear picture of your learner types and how to target them?

The ability to convert potential into confirmed with ease?

The resources to excel and take your office and school to the next level?

Enrollment management is changing. Have you prepared your team and are you looking ahead for opportunities and obstacles that may be looming? A marketing sprint is a great way to reflect, refocus and prepare your team to work more effectively. It’s also a chance to consider:

  • Most of the college search is done online – why would a prospective student want to search for you?

  • What will they find when they do?

  • Will the change in the Code of Ethics for the National Association for College Admissions Counseling help or hinder your efforts?

  • The “Cliff of 2025-26” is coming, are you preparing?

  • Is there a more efficient way to allocate your financial and human resources to better meet your marketing goals?

The Marketing Sprint

Marketing your institution

  • Who are you? Articulating your brand

  • Are we capitalizing on the best tools and media to reach our target audiences?

As a large group, we’ll explore answers to these questions and brainstorm about what is working and what is not – what do you hear from students or colleagues – what are your pain points?  We’ll also focus on “narrowing your niche” and creating learner type personal profiles for your ideal student candidate.  Participants will break into smaller groups and create persona profiles for the learner types identified as key targets.
