Design and marketing strategies for education are exciting, competitive and ever-changing. Developing design tactics that are impactful and result driven for education clients has been an area of expertise for nearly two decades. The approach may change but my process of asking the right questions and connecting the data points to define a strategic objective remains the same.

Cabarrus College of Health Sciences

SCOPE OF WORK:

The work with Cabarrus College began as a design project to refresh student-facing collateral. As part of the process a stakeholder interview was conducted and revealed that there was more work to be done. The college was in need of a brand overhaul, their audience and differentiators needed to be redefined; a marketing strategy and actionable objectives were also outlined and put into place.

Nearly 5 years in – the brand overhaul is complete with a refresh in the works as we move into the next academic year. Our strategy is continually evolving but digital has become a central component.

Mecklenburg Area Catholic Schools

SCOPE OF WORK:

MACS is an institution in the greater Charlotte community but over time their brand had become dated and lack luster. W. Accetta Design was tasked with refreshing the brand – create more engagement and emphasize the cornerstones of a MACS education. The work has been ongoing and spans print, direct mail and digital applications.

Metro Institute

SCOPE OF WORK:

Domtar asked W. Accetta Design to work with them on development of a higher education sample package for the Xerox® division. This was a chance to showcase the creative possibilities of print on a standard, dependable sheet. Inspiring the end user and allowing us the unbridled opportunity to craft an identity persona for an urban educational institution. 

A designer’s dream job – add to that the multitude of components and the comprehensive package that was presented and you can understand my excitement for the project. We had a lot of fun pulling this together but more importantly, produced a package that is engaging, keeping Domtar and Xerox® top-of-mind for marketing campaign production.
